Head Start is a federally funded program that promotes the school readiness of children ages three to five from income eligible families by supporting child development through comprehensive services that include Education, Health, Nutrition, Mental Health, Disabilities, and Family Services.
California State Preschool Program
State Preschool Program (CSPP) is funding by the California Department of Education Child Development Division as a preschool school program for income eligible families. We partner CSPP with Head Start funding to offer children with extended hour center-based services.
Services offered through center-based, home-based, and family childcare options, vary from 3.5 to 7 hours each day of operation.
